My grandma’s house was made of stone and wood, with blue-coloured doors and white marble.

each day our chicken laid their eggs, I run to go and get them as Grandma Rose had to cook my breakfast omelet.

With honey and pies and other treats, she would read us good old stories underneath our huge yard tree.

Grandma Rose could cook and sew even ice cream in a stick she made for her children, all moved along now and with her grandchildren she played.

She had a house with blue, white and green and many other colours, and in our hearts she would sow the seeds to get you into the biggest palace.

Her father had some horse and grapes from the vines he would collect turning them into wines and fruits and goods that in the village market he would sell.

Our grandma Rose was special, she made magic with her hands. Her words and kind gestures still lay deep inside our hearts.

Goodnight Grandma Rose, goodnight birds and bees, goodnight bright flowers and goodnight orange trees.

My Grandma’s name was Rose and she was pretty, strong and smart.
